Suppose you have been following the emerging technologies sector. In that case, you will have noticed that there is still much confusion surrounding blockchain’s ideology. While folks have been talking about blockchain for what seems like a long-time now, many are still unsure what blockchain is and how it works. It is worth remembering this ambiguity leaves the good ideas of blockchain open to exploitation and scams.
Before thinking about using a specific blockchain project as a solution, my suggestion is to look at the following of that project;
Ten minutes or ten years?
They say you can’t force creativity, and this is somewhat true. Still, the other day, I sat down and forced myself to take out my watercolours and paint for at least 10 minutes. Because I didn’t feel like it doesn’t mean I didn’t need to do it.
Delaying self-gratification seems a lost art in today’s culture; we want what we want, and we want it now without putting in the work. This message to enjoy the moment seems justified through social media stories and advertising that spams our newsfeeds every day and often is fake…
There are more than 450 functions in Excel. Who uses all of them?
Human potential is an extraordinary thing. Just look at the first moon landings, a group of men and women coming together to overcome tremendous challenges to innovate a way to get humans to the moon. And they accomplished that engineering feat in the late 1960s, which was a pre-digital age. I’m not sure Elon Musk could have done that.
What this story and excel tell us about our untapped potential.
Each function in excel could not operate independently. They are held together by strings of code. The…
The term self-love is a relatively new word adopted into our vocabulary in the 1980s. In the past few years, the term self-love seems to get thrown around in everyday conversation as an accepted truism.
“You have to love yourself more.”
“Why don’t you just love yourself?”
“You can’t love another person until you love yourself first.”
Considering the above platitudes, these are some of the self-love mantras that suggest a more fulfilling life. But is the self-love view of ourselves helping you and me live happier and healthier lives? I’m not convinced.
To be sure, I understand the need…
In December 2020, US regulators made it clear they will seek a radical remedy for Facebook’s business growth strategy. Could this be the ushering in of a new dawn of regulation for technology giants?
Facebook today is roughly valued at $800 billion and controls over three of the world’s largest social media platforms.
New York Attorney General Letitia James could hardly have been more explicit in her statement;
“For nearly a decade, Facebook has used its dominance and monopoly power to crush smaller rivals, and snuff out competition, all at the expense of everyday users…”
Letitia James outlined the case…

Artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, robotics, and automation are a set of technologies regularly reported in the media that will replace jobs as we currently know them.
How could a future labor-less economy prosper?

She was home. And yet it looked nothing like her home, and all she could see from shore to shore was devastation. Metal barrels full of waste and blazing fires covered the once exquisite island. This place she called home appeared destroyed by a game that had deceived their worlds for millennia.
But, first, let us travel back to a time and space when the island was beautiful, and life seemed carefree.
There it was the small cottage by the sea. In the cottage, three children lived with their goats, chickens, and their pony named Fred.
The children’s cottage was…
